Brighton Pride 2008
The hangovers have faded and the clothes are dry.
All we're left with are the memories (or not as the case may be) and the photographic evidence below.
The weather was not as great as it could be, but Pride was, the parade was, the party in the park was and the evening was just fantastic.
3Sixty Magazine and 180News are going to be bursting with Pride photos and news, so make sure you grab a copy or download (from the 'Friends of Qshoot' page) as soon as they are published.
Meanwhile the following photos are dedicated to the poeple of Brighton that put on yet another brilliant Pride Event.
P.S. scroll down even further for another chance to see the 2006 and 2007 Brighton Pride photos :)

Bristol is Best!
Whilst summer may not be producing the goods, Bristol's gay scene certainly is with masses of events planned over the next few months.
And if last weekend is anything to go by, who needs Brighton or Manchester?

Bristol's Finest
Qshoot was out'n'about on Saturday in Bristol's two best clubs.
It was all black-light and luminescence for The Queenshilling's 'GLOW' night and on the other side of town, Flamingo's two dance floors were packed.

Mr Gay UK - Bristol Heat
They always save the best till last, and with the last regional heat being held in Bristol, this years Mr Gay UK was no exception.
Congratulations to 24 year old Terry Clark who was Crowned 'Mr Bristol' at the Queenshilling. He has just moved from Portsmouth and will represent his new City at this years final in Manchester, over Pride Weekend.
Terry narrowly beat Henry Mole (wearing a '9' tag) bar-personage at the Shilling.
In third place was Sean Green ('4' tag), who should have got a prize for having the loudest fan club.
Qshoot first went to The Pineapple to snap the punters as they basked in the bar's new very funky, and much improved, paint-job.
Then on to the Queenshilling, the album below contains photos of the most important people there ... YOU

Going NATIONAL!
3Sxity went National this month, which means that Bristol's best bars and clubs, as well as your smiley faces will be seen from Lands End to John o'Groats (well in the major cities anyway)
To see the magazine click on the 'Friends of Qshoot' tab above and follow the link.
Although it was a tad quiet over the weekend, Qshoot found plenty of life in Bristol's best venues, click below to view the photos

Goodbye VIBES
"Just like the old days"
VIBES went out with style last night as Andy (VIBES Manager) and co. put on a show to remember. Well, actually, Andy didn't put on the show, Matt (Limo) and Paul (Pineapple Manager) organised a surprise cabaret evening which was packed with the best acts from Bristol and Cardiff to thank their friend, Andy, for all the work he has put in to the Bristol Scene for the last 15 years.
Andy thanked all the people that supported him over the years, his staff and customers and added "You still have The Pineapple, Queenshilling and Flamingos, but they need your support, or you will lose them too"

Bristol Scene Photos
It's very sad to hear that VIBES night club is set to close. There are no plans to re-open it as an LGTB venue.
VIBES and it's manager Andy have been very good friends of Qshoot and both the club and Andy (and of course Dolly Tits-Up) will be very much missed, especially if Andy does leave Bristol after 15 years of supporting the Bristol Scene.
There will be a massive Farewell Party on the 29th March (check the VIBES website for confirmation of date and time) Qshoot will be there as will many faces from the past. to wish Andy and the Staff the very best wishes for the future.
The photos below are all from Saturday Night, as always, check 3Sixty Mag to see if you've made it on the 'Scene' pages.
